The first tenant of this croft was John Macleod (b1781). It is not know where John originated from and the croft passed to his son Malcolm (b1815) and sold to Malcolm Macleod, 1 Knock Carloway and thereafter to Kenneth Macleod (b1855), 3 Borrowston.
