The first tenant of this croft was Angus Macaskill who was married to Ann Macphail. It is not known where Angus and Ann originated from. Their only child John (b1823) inherited the croft and was passed to his son Angus (b1869) and his son Malcolm, married to Ann Macleod, 31 Upper Carloway who had no family. On their death, the croft was sold.
