9136: 21 Balallan

Malcolm Martin (1792-1879) served with the Militia in the 1820s. He resided on this croft with his family and his son Malcolm (1826-1861) inherited the croft. After Malcolm’s death, his wife Ann returned to 33 Balallan. The croft was split in 1886 to form 21a and 21b Balallan.
