103921: 46 North Tolsta

46 North Tolsta was a newly lotted croft in 1854. The first occupants were Donald Morrison and Mary Graham. The family had previously been living at 19 Old North Tolsta; it was there that their daughter Isabella had died in infancy. By the time of the move their eldest children were in their twenties and it is not clear how many of them were still living in the parental home. Their youngest child, George, was 15, and in due course 46 North Tolsta passed to him.

George Morrison married Mary Murray and the couple had four children: Donald, Isabella, John and John. Their two middle children died in infancy. In due course 46 North Tolsta passed to their eldest son.

Donald Morrison married Catherine Murray and the couple had eight children: George, John, Norman, Isabella, Murdo, Donald, Annabella, and Angus. Their last child, Angus, died in infancy. Their daughter, Isabella settled on Cnoc Crioc: which stood on land that had been feued off from 46 North Tolsta. In due course 46 North Tolsta passed to their son, John.

John Morrison married Annabella Campbell and the couple had four children: two boys and two girls. In due course 46 North Tolsta passed to their youngest son, Angus.

Angus Morrison married a woman from Stornoway and the couple had four children: three boys and a girl. Their daughter, Sandra, died in infancy. Angus feued off the croft house and passed 46 North Tolsta to his eldest son.
