59 North Tolsta was a newly lotted croft in 1857. The first tenant was Roderick Maciver from 12 North Tolsta and he passed the croft to his son-in-law, William Macleod from 32 Vatisker.

William passed the croft to his youngest son, Angus.

Angus Macleod passed 59 North Tolsta to his youngest son, Roderick John.

Roderick John Macleod feued off a section of 59 North Tolsta, on this website this is referred to as Feu: 59 North Tolsta. He settled there and 59 North Tolsta passed to his eldest son.
