70 Tolastadh bho Thuath

70 North Tolsta was a newly lotted croft in 1871. The first occupants were Donald Gunn and Christina Maciver. Donald had returned from many years service with the Hudson's Bay Company. The couple had no children and in due course 70 North Tolsta passed to Donald's nephew, William.

William Gunn of 43 North Tolsta was married to Mary Murray of 52 North Tolsta.  At least three of their four children were still alive when they settled at 70 North Tolsta. These were, Mary, John and Alexander. In due course 70 North Tolsta passed to John.

John Gunn married Margaret Mackenzie of 37 North Tolsta and the couple had six children: three boys and three girls. In due course 70 North Tolsta passed to their son, Kenneth.

Kenneth Gunn never married and passed 70 North Tolsta to his younger brother.
