95 Sràid a’ Chnuic, Tolastadh bho Thuath

The first occupants of 95 Hill Street, North Tolsta were Murdo Maciver and Christina Macleod. The couple had five children:  Angus, Malcolm, Mary Ann, Malcolm and Murdo. In 1922 they obtained 36 Gress, as a newly lotted croft, and settled there. Their son Donald was born that same year. The couple had a further two children once settled in Gress.

In 1922 Murdo Campbell and Margaret Maciver obtained 95 Hill Street. The couple went on to have four children. In due course the house passed to their youngest daughter.

Their daughter married and had four children. The family moved and sold the house.

The present occupants are a man from Ness and a woman from North Tolsta and their children.
