104230: 7 Old North Tolsta
7 Old North Tolsta was a newly lotted croft in 1830 and the first occupants were Kenneth Murray, Mary Graham and their children: Isabella, Margaret and John. The couple's fourth child John was born the year of the move. In 1841 the family emigrated to Canada and settled in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. 7 Old North Tolsta passed to Murdo Macleod.
Murdo Macleod was married to Mary Murray, Old South Tolsta and they had two children: Marion and Donald. The couple went on to have a daughter, Margaret.
The family obtained 34 North Tolsta in 1853 when Old North Tolsta was de-crofted and the land became Tolsta Farm.
