14 Old North Tolsta was a newly lotted croft in 1830. The first occupants were Donald Campbell and Lily Maciver from Old South Tolsta tack. They had no children

Between 1831 and 1846 they had seven children: Murdo, Christina, Ann, Donald, Hector, Isabella and Angus.

In 1854, after Old North Tolsta had been decrofted to make way for Tolsta Farm, the family obtained 47 North Tolsta.
