104244: 22 Old North Tolsta
22 Old North Tolsta was a newly lotted croft in 1832. The first occupants were widower, Alexander Macrae and his children: Marion, Ann, George and Neil. His sons Alexander and Norman may also have been alive at this time but this is not certain. By 1833 Alexander had married Margaret Macdonald and, Isabella, the first of their five children had been born. Ann, Catherine, Alexander and Mary were born over the following twelve years.
In 1854, after Old North Tolsta was decrofted to make way for Tolsta Farm, the family obtained 44 North Tolsta as a newly lotted croft.
