105384: Tobhta Mairi Anna, Pol an Oir
Tobhta Màiri Anna
The original house was built in the 1850s, the home of shopkeeper Catherine MacLeod and her cousin Mary Ann MacAskill, to whom it passed on Catherine’s death. From Mary Ann it passed to her daughter Christina.
Disused since 1936, the site became known as Tobhta Màiri Anna. Very little now remains. It is referred to as ‘house no 62’ in the croft history of the area.
