105920: 3 Old South Tolsta

3 Old South Tolsta was a newly lotted croft in 1830. The first occupants were John Martin and Margaret Macdonald. Four of the couple's children had died in childhood prior to this. Their daughter, Ann was already married and had her first child. Their eldest son, Donald, who was 45, never married and may have still being living in the parental home. Donald died five years later.

In 1851, during the croft re-lotting, the couple obtained 43 North Tolsta.
