7 Old South Tolsta was a newly lotted croft in 1830. The first, and only, occupants were John Morrison and Christina Macleod. It is not certain where John was from, but Christina was from Knockaird. The couple had no children.

In the 1851 croft re-lotting the couple obtained 34 North Tolsta.
