117716: Tobhta Alasdair ‘ic Thormoid, Borve

These are the ruins of the home of Alexander Paterson and his family. Oral tradition on the island suggests that the ruins lie on the slopes of Borve Hill, close to Little Loch Borve. The crofts in the area were cleared in 1850 for Borve Farm.
