What may be two unroofed shieling-huts annotated as Ruins are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 36). Two black dots which may indicate the location of unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974) although they are not marked at the same locations as the buildings on the 1st edition.
