Full description:

"Linking mills (49.1 and 49.2) the remains of this manmade channel or leat takes water off from the western shore of the River Torastay and diverts it through the two mill sites before returning to and issuing into the western shore of the river 51 metres to the north. At its widest this leat is 1.5 metres wide and it is up to 1 metre deep." (Burgess 2004, 162)
