John (1835-1915) was a son of Norman Mackenzie and Mary Morrison, 4 Croir.
In 1865 he married Ann Maciver, 7 Breaclete. John and Ann lived at 4 Croir and in 1880 they obtained 13 Hacklete. The couple had ten children.
John's niece, Mary Morrison was living with the family in 1871.
