For the purposes of this website, the district of East Loch Roag encompasses the villages of Garynahine, Callanish and Breascleit, for which historical information is collected by Comann Eachdraidh Loch Ròg an Ear (East Loch Rog Historical Society). The area is adjacent to the geographical feature of the same name.
