27011: Donald Cam’s Stack

Stac Dhomhnaill Cam, located on a rough stretch of coast near Mangersta Beach, was occupied by Domhnall Cam Macaulay, the notorious renegade. A high pillar of rock completely surrounded by sea, it provided him with an ideal natural defence from his enemies. It is said that his daughter used to walk daily from Crowlista each morning to milk a cow, unknown to its owner, and then carry two pails of milk down the sea cliff and up to her father on the stack without ever spilling a drop.
