107567: Kinloch Historical Society

Kinloch Historical Society (Comann Eachdraidh Cheann a’ Loch) was founded in 1983. The society’s aims are to promote, in the interests of social welfare and education, an active interest in the history, heritage and culture of the Kinloch area of the Isle of Lewis.

The society is a founding member of the Hebridean Connections project and most of the Kinloch ocal genealogy is included in the Hebridean Connections database.

The Society has also published Gleanings, the genealogy of the area. A full list of Kinloch Historical Society publications and their prices is available upon application to the society.
