Angus (1889-1977) was a son of Norman Maciver and Mary Mackenzie, 2 Upper Carloway.
He emigrated to the United States of America with his brothers, Malcolm and Norman. Angus settled at Chinook, Montana. He lived on a cattle ranch with land he obtained through the Montana Homestead Act (320 Acres each).
In 1920, at Chinook, he married Martha Caroline Staff from Chinook. Angus and Martha settled in Chinook and they had five children. By the 1950 Census the family were living in Missoula, Montana.
Both are interred in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Missoula.
