He was married twice; his first wife being Mary Macleod, 4 Park Carloway and his second wife was Catherine Macleod, 28 Tolsta Chaolais. Murdo inherited 12 Upper Carloway on his father’s death when croft 11 Upper Carloway was split between himself and brother Donald who took 11 Upper Carloway.
