Donald (1804-1883) was the son of Margaret Macritchie and Malcolm Macdonald, 2 Knock.
He married Mary Macleod of 21/22 Upper Carloway. The couple resided there and later at 16 Knock Carloway, which he acquired in the 1860’s, along with 17 Knock Carloway. They had eight children.
Prior to 1860, Donald was living with his family at 21 Knock Carloway.
