Finlay (1830-1895) was the son of Donald Macneil and Catherine Macaulay, 4 Park Carloway. After his father exchanged crofts, they later moved to 40 Upper Carloway.
Finlay married Margaret Macleod of 1 Park, Carloway. They resided at 51 Upper Carloway and had four children.
