103364: John Macarthur
John (1842-1916) was the son of John Macarthur and Marion Maciver, 16 Knock Carloway. His father died in 1860 and the family later moved to 21 Knock Carloway.
He married Catherine Macdonald, 16/17 Knock Carloway. John and Catherine were cottars at 21 Knock Carloway and they had two daughter.
John was widowed in 1875 and later married Margaret Macphail, 1 Garenin with whom he had no children.
