Margaret (1827-1897) was the daughter of Angus Finlayson and Annie of 8 Aird Tong.
Her first marriage was to Murdo Morrison, of Taransay, and they had at least one child. Their son, Malcolm, eventually settled at 36 Aird Tong.
Her second marriage, in 1853, was to Donald Macdonald, 4 Steinish, Stornoway. They settled at 8 Aird Tong and had at least two children.
In due course 8 Aird Tong passed to their son, Alexander.
