Murdo Kennedy (1807-1873) was a son of Roderick Kennedy and Mary Macleod, 11 Old Eishken.
The family were removed to 2 Old Lemreway in 1833.
In Lochs, in 1834, he married Janet Macdonald, 3 Old Lemreway. Murdo and Janet settled at 2 Old Lemreway and they had two of their six children.
In 1843 the family were removed to 1 Crossbost.
