Angus Macaulay (born 1811) was from Kirkibost. In 1825 when the village was cleared Angus and his brother Donald moved to Shulishader. Angus at 16 Shulishader and Donald at 6 Shulishader.

He married Ann Macdonald from Portnaguran. Angus and Ann lived at 16 Shulishader and they had ten children.
