112801: Ann Ferguson

Ann Ferguson, born 1813 in Scotland, emigrated to Cape Breton. She married Kenneth Ferguson of Fergusons’ Lake, where they made their home. They had at least one child, Chirsty.

Note: Sources differ as to Ann’s relationship with Rachel and Mary. The local croft history suggests that they were sisters-in-law. However, research in Canada describes them as Kenneth and Ann’s daughters.
