Iseabail Mhurchaidh Dhomhnaill

Isabella (1816-1901) was the daughter of Murdo Macdonald and Isabella Mackenzie. By 1833 the family were settled with her paternal grandparents at 6 Old Back.

Isabella married John Macleod, Gress and formerly of Uig and they had eight children. 

Her parents obtained 29/30 Back in the 1851 croft re-lotting and after her father's death in 1856, the croft was divided giving Isabella and John 30 Back.

Isabella was widowed in 1901.
