Donald (1835-1900) was the son of Norman Martin and Marion Morrison. In 1858 the family obtained 59 Back and in 1861 he was living with his parents at 4 Weavers' Lane.
He married Eliza Morrison of 16/17 North Dell. In 1869 the family obtained 63 Back, as a newly lotted croft. Donald and Eliza had eight children.
On the 8th of June 1883 he gave evidence at the Napier Commission session in Stornoway.
Donald died of cancer.
