Murchadh Aonghais Iain

Murdo (born 1877) was the son of Angus Macleod and Margaret Stewart, cottars at 30 Back. The family later moved to 23 Vatisker, the maternal croft.

Murdo's mother died in 1904 and his father went on to marry Isabella Maclennan, 60 North Tolsta. In 1916 his step mother died and his father later married Ann Macdonald, 29 Vatisker.

Murdo married Mary Gardner of Glasgow and the couple settled at 23 Vatisker. They had five children and the family later moved to Clydebank.
