Alasdair Aonghais Iain

Alexander (born 1882) was the son of Angus Macleod and Margaret Stewart, cottars at 30 Back. They later moved to 23 Vatisker, the maternal croft.

His mother died in 1904 and his father went on to marry Isabella Maclennan from 60 North Tolsta. In 1916 his step mother died and his father later married Ann Macdonald, 28 Vatisker.

Alexander settled in Stornoway.
