116070: John Macleod

John Macleod (b1796) from Tolsta Chaolais was the first tenant of 22/23 Tolsta Chaolais.  He was married to Mary Macleod (b1808) from Breaclete Bernera and they had ten children, born between 1823 and 1848.

In c1852, John and his  family emigrated to Bruch County, Ontario, apart from the eldest daughter Mary, who was married to Donald Macaskill, 5 Kirvick and residing at 3 Kirvick.
