Margaret (1806-1883) was the daughter of Alexander Matheson of Bayble.

She married Colin Maciver of 6 Old Coll. Margaret and Colin settled at 6 Old Coll where they had three of their six children. In 1837 the family obtained 34 Old Coll, as a newly lotted croft and in 1851, during the croft re-lotting, the family obtained 19 Coll.

Margaret was widowed in 1882.
