Catherine (1944-2014) was a daughter of Murdo Buchanan and Peggy Macritchie, 14 Brenish.
At Inverness in 1979, she married Reverend Donald Angus Mackay, 14 Garrabost. Catherine and Donald Angus had one daughter. They lived in Scarista, Isle of Harris, Bracadale, Isle of Skye and the Isle of Berneray, where Donald Angus carried out his ministry. When Donald Angus's health failed they relocated to Inverness.
Catherine was widowed in 1999 and later married a man from Belfast, Ireland where they lived.
