Niall Nèill Aonghais
Neil (born 1837) was the son of Neil MacAskill and Christina Paterson of Pabbay. The family later moved to Tahay.
Neil and his sister, Rachel emigrated to Australia on the SS Royal Albert in 1855.
In 1868 he married Catherine Morrison. Neil and Catherine had a son, Neil in 1869. Neil was widowed soon after Neil's birth.
In 1877 he married Mary MacLeod. Neil and Mary had four children.
