Màiri Anna Iain Alasdair

Mary Ann (1858-1932) was the daughter of John Paterson and Christina Munro of Taigh a’ Chiobair, Borve. She became a domestic servant, moving to Duror in Argyllshire.
At Appin, in 1888, she married Donald MacKenzie from Rosskeen. MaryAnn and Donald lived at Port Appin and they had four children.
