Donald (1816-1849) was the son of John Macleod and Flora Macleod of 14 Aird Tong.
He married Catherine Maciver, of 3 Steinish, and they at 14 Aird Tong. They had at least two children and their sons, Angus and Donald, became cottars at 14 Aird Tong after his death. When his widow died his son Donald inherited 14 Aird Tong.
