118656: Arthur Hoskins

Arthur Hoskins (1925-1983) was born in Wales and when he was five years old he moved with his family to Stokesley, Yorkshire. He was an Army Sergeant  at Catterick.

In 1951, in Yorkshire, he married Gwendoline Flora Ann Goodge, Miavaig Farm Uig. The couple lived in Richmond, Yorkshire and they had three children. 

In 1979,  the couple retired to  Miavaig where they built a house on the original site of the Farmhouse at the shore. They called the house Littlebeck. Sadly, Arthur did not live to see the house completed and died in 1983.
