Malcolm Macdonald (1773-1864) was the son of John Macdonald of Harris.
He married Christina Macdonald of Lochs. By 1820 he is listed as a subtenant in Altenish and the family were settled at 2 Altenish where they had three of their seven children. In 1826 the family resettled at 9 Tong.
