Henrietta (1926-1970) was a daughter of Angus Mackinnon and Mary Bella Macleod, Sandwick, Stornoway. During the Second World War She met Walter Palmer Dopson an American  Sailor from Florida.

On 31 March 1948 Henrietta flew from Prestwick Airport by British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) to New York.  Ten days later she married Walter and they settled in Florida. Henrietta and Walter had three children and they divorced in September 1965.

Henrietta died aged 43.
