Allan (1869-1953) was a son of Angus Macritchie and Rachel Gunn, 33 Cross, Ness.
In 1897, at Glasgow, he married Flora Maciver, Glasgow formerly of 12 Kneep. Allan and Flora settled at 44 Maclean Street, Govan and they had at least six children.
One of their sons, Allan was well known Gaelic singer.
