Mary Ann (1925-1983) was a daughter of John Smith and Rodina Mackay, 13 Achmore.

At Inverness, in 1951, she married William Macleod, 5 Laxdale. Mary Ann and William had two children.  Torquil Iain, was born in Karachi, Pakistan and Roderick in Germany where William was serving.

In 1974 the family were living at Laxdale Lane.
