Elizabeth (1918-2006) was a daughter of Robert Dempster and Mary Ann Macraild, Kinloch Rannoch. She was born in Snizort, Isle of Skye. The family moved to the Isle of Lewis and initially lived at the Gamekeepers House at Valmus and later moved to the Seaforth Head Schoolhouse.

In Harris, in 1940, she married Finlay Macinnes.
