John Angus (1910-1994) was a son of Donald Macdonald and Mary Ann Macleod, 7 Drinishader, Harris. He was a twin of Roderick Ewan.
On 12 September 1939 he was ordained at the Free Presbyterian Church at Uig where he spent the next eight years. In 1940 he married Margaret Ross of 11 Geocrab and they lived in Uig. John Angus was widowed the following year.
The Rev John Angus moved to Applecross in 1947 and remained there for seven years. He moved to Raasay for six years and served in Fort William from 1960 until 1988. He was Moderator of the Synod in 1950 and 1972.
It is believed that he married again.
John Angus is buried in Kilvean Cemetery, Inverness.
