Duncan Haggart Orr (1912-1995) was a son of Andrew Orr and Sarah Haggart, Lochgilphead.
At Partick, in 1940, he married Christy Maccuish, 3 Malaclete. Duncan and Christy settled in Ayrshire and they had no children.
The croft at 3 Malaclete was passed to Christy and the couple lived there.
Duncan was widowed in 1984 and they are both buried at Clachan Sands New Cemetery, North Uist.
