Jean Campbell Ferguson MacGimpsey (1930-1989) was a daughter of William MacGimpsey and Agnes Ferguson, Kilwinning, Ayrshire. She was born at 17 Wades Road, Inverlochy and was an only child. Her birth was not registered until 24th October 1956 in Fort William!
At Partick, Glasgow, in 1957 she married Malcolm Morrison, 1 Ungeshader and they settled in Glasgow. Jean and Malcolm moved to Edinburgh in 1961. They had three children and later, after Jean had died, eight grandchildren. She died in Fairmile Nursing Home, Edinburgh. The couple are buried in Glen Nevis Cemetery, Fort William.
