1237: Murdo Smith

Murdo (1788-1876) was a son of Malcolm Smith and Catherine Mackay, 2 Earshader. His brother John lived on  4 Earshader. They swapped crofts but took their croft numbers with them.

Murdo was married to Christina Smith. They lived at 2 Earshader and they had two children.

Murdo was widowed and in 1828 he married Ann Mackay from Crulivig. Murdo and Ann lived at 2 Earshader and they had five children.

Murdo was widowed again in 1864.
