Norman (1900-1968) was a son of Norman Maciver and Mary Mackenzie, 2 Upper Carloway.
He emigrated to the United States of America with his brothers, Malcolm and Angus. settled at Chinook, Montana. Norman lived on a cattle ranch with land he obtained through the Montana Homestead Act (320 Acres each).
In 1932 he married Native American, Eleanor Putra. Norman and Eleanor settled at Chinook and they had two sons.
Norman died in San Diego, California aged 68.
